Supercrews 2000 - 2003.
'00 - '03 Supercrews all had the same bed type/bed length.
On another topic...
If we are talking fiberglass caps made for the '97 thru ''03 bodystyle, the truck cab also comes into play.
The regular cab has more 'rake' than the supercab.
So, after you determine the bed lengths are the same and the bed types are the same...
Used Supercab top onto Regular cab = YES (gap at top but at this age who cares)
Used Regular cab top onto Supercab = NO (cap will rub cab at top, paint, third brakelight etc...)

Well, I meant easier as far as isolating a truck cap.
Craiglist ads are often VERY frustrating, 'For Sale Ford Camper Shell' with little info.
What year(s)?
What length?
Styleside/Flareside?
What Cab?
At least he knows if it's not '01-'03 just move on.
If it is '01' - '03' he could dig a little deeper.
