truck got broken into a while back and im sick of crawling over from the passenger side. i bought a lock cylinder today and gosh darnit im gonna replace it. ive read a couple threads and everyone just says its a b**** to replace and its not worth the trouble, blah blah blah. thats just annoying.

so! anyone out there care to give me some tips on how to replace this thing? im not interested in how difficult it is, i put my mind to it and ill get it done.

its an '02, f150, xl. bout as bone stock as they come.

is there damage to the door surrounding the lock?
yes, but i plan on jerry rigging that. its nothing too serious.

does the door still lock?
yes, i just have to reach over from the passenger side to open it.
