Question Remove Door sill??

I’ve searched here but I still can’t find….

How do you remove the doorsills on an 05’ F150 XL (without breaking anything)?

get your fingers underneath it and yank her off... its snapped in by i think 4 clips just get as close to them as you can when pulling so you dont bend it

It is grip and rip... but, be cautious when 'ripping' as you can pull the 'snaps' that hold the piece in place off of the plastic sill portion pretty easily.

While it's not the end of the world if this happens, it was a hastle to get the clip back on the plastic such that it was secured... putting it back on the truck was a tad tricky too because the plastic 'flap' that the clip mounts to was bent and weakend by the clip being pulled off.

Just go slow... take it easy... and you'll be fine.

just go slow!!!! As RP said the clips can pull out, it helps to use a plastic tool to pry up on the sill
