Thanks radz. I'm pretty sure that is the part number, but the local shop won't be open for a couple days, and Titus Ford only has 2 of them in stock, so I either will go ahead and use my home made ones and save 30 bucks, or will order them. Depends on my mood when I buy that last bolt.
So if you are adding an OEM bed extender to these trucks and it does not come with hardware, plan on buying
2 w707381-s900 bolts
2 W520414-S309 nuts to go on the two bolts. You would need these if you are putting the bolts into a non-SuperCrew bed. They go on the bolts.
4 YL3Z-84286A54-AA Grommets or rubber washers.
Cost on the bolts list is 9.24 each. Usually sold for 6.93 each.
Cost on the nuts list is 2.95 pair. Usually sold for 2.21 pair
Cost on the grommets list is 6.38 each. No dealer price handy.
You also need 2 large washers to use on the back of the bolts inside the bed.
I would also suggest two small washers that just fit the bolt and just fit the hole to center the bolts. I had lots of those in my nuts/bolts drawers.
So cost on the parts, always listed on e-bay as 'about or under' 20 bucks, is actually about 45 bucks with sales tax or online with shipping.
Even if you were putting these on a SuperCrew, unless the grommets were already there the cost would be only 3-4 bucks less.
Not out of line, just higher than reported.
Now if you are cheap or trying to do it as low ball as possible, you can make your own grommets out of shock biscuits... messy job, takes about five-ten minutes a grommet. Cost zero if you are like me and have that kind of junk left around from other projects.
If you are REALLY cheap, you can drop by a pick-a-part and round up two tailgate bolts and use them instead of the correct bolts. I'm not quite that cheap, but I have to admit I thought about it when the 'two bolt' package turned out to only be one bolt...
