Now for answers. The Audiophile sends the majority of the bass to the subwoofer. Needless to say, it'll sound like crap without the sub.
The rear speakers are the same. The front has tweeters powered from a crossover mounted on the front speaker.
I don't know about the power output, but think it's the same.
My Lariat came with the wiring for the sub located under the 60 percent rear seat. There was also a sub lead taped off behind the head unit. The Audiophile has 3 plugs versus the 2 found on the 6 cd changer.
I'd do it again now that I know how great it sounds.
