Unhappy Seat belt alarm

Well I have always known I was a little crazy but the alarm that goes off because of the seat belt not being on has put me over the top...lol

Does any one know how I can turn it off with out affecting anything else to that fuse?

And if not does any one have any idea's how to fix it?

The procedure is in your owners manual under belt minder system, the procedure has to be done for both front seats, or do what I did go to a junk yard and cut the buckle part off a late model Ford seat belt mine is from a 97-98 Expedition,I do wear the seat belt most times, I use the buckle while in my hunting club so I dont have to hear that annoying bell

Seat belt alarm

I'm not sure if it is the same with the Mark LT as with the Blackwood, but on my Blackwood all I have to do it press the seat belt release button as if the seat belt was in ( even though it is not ). That does it for me, to avoid hearing that alarm. Give it a try hopefully it will work. Let me know

like mentioned above, go to your manual and it explains what steps you need to turn the alarm off. the light should still work but the buzzer gets turned off. i did it to my 03 screw and now no more alarm.

Yeah, those idiots at Ford always put instructions in the manual that don't work.

What's wrong with those guys?
