When to change tranny fluid?

I am going to be heading to the beach in a couple of weeks and wanted to know whether it would be better to change the fluid before I go or after I get back. The reason I am asking is I will be doing a lot of driving on the sand to get to my favorite fishing spots and I know how hard this is on the transmission. I bought the truck last year with 80,000 miles on it (don't know if the fluid was ever changed before this but assume it was) and I had the fluid changed about 25,000 miles ago which was right before I went to the beach last summer. The truck has the 4R70W transmission.

Thanks in advance for your help! I don't have the money to have the transmission rebuilt so I want to do as much preventative maintenance as possible.

Change before or after I go?

I when I go to the beach it will be right around the 30k interval.

What I am asking is would it be better for me to change the fluid before or after I put the transmission through hell on the beach? (These aren't those packed beaches in Florida that a 2wd can drive on. These beaches are in NC and require 4wd to even get to the beach.) Or would it make any difference at all when I changed it?

Thanks

Thanks bigtruck311! Someone on here always helps me out no matter how dumb my question may sound.
