Is it time for a new/rebuilt tranny

I have a 4.6l f150 w/ 4r70w transmission. I am experiencing what feels like a slow or delayed shift in all gears except reverse. I have had the fluid changed on schedule and recently had the springs replaced in the 1-2 accumulator. The shop also replaced the filter and replaced all fluids. I have also checked to make sure the fluid level is Ok. At this point I am stumped. The truck drives other than that and the shop did not mention any other problems when they test-drove it. The said there were no O.D. codes when they put it on the scanner. Any thoughts? thanks.

how long would you say it takes to go into gear? When compared to chevy, I have noticed that the ford trannys take a little longer to go into gear out of park or neutral. How many miles on your truck?

The truck has 145,000 miles on it. I'm not sure how long it takes to shift but it is very noticeable. I just don't want it going out on me while I on a trip next month. I can tell every time it shifts into a gear. I know they are normally tuned to shift like a car. Maybe its just me??? it just seems like the shifts are delayed and I get a slight bump when going into gear. Like when I get on it to go around someone. It seems like it goes into neutral then into gear.
