I'm have a 2004 f150 that came without the keypad entry code. where do i find the computer module that has the entry code on it. The ford manual says it is stamped on the module.

 

I looked in the F150 service manual, and it shows that the vehicle security module is behind the left side rear quarter trim in the regular cab and behind the rear cab trim behind the rear seat back in the super and crew cabs. My reccommendation would be to take it to the dealer that you got it from, or to the neighborhood Ford store if you bought it elsewhere. They can retrieve that code using WDS in about 2 minutes. If they do charge you for this, it probably won't be too much.

 

Thanks, I took it to the local Ford dealership and they put their computer on it and retrieved the code. You are right. It is behind the rear seat on the s-cab
