The mlps probably needs to be updated the kit will cost about $100 from ford they are a known problem.
That is why ford revised the part.
The torque converter lockup piston is another known problem.
The early(pre97) design was riveted together and the rivets would loosen up allowing lockup pressure to bleed through them.
The new revised part is one piece and has no rivets to loosen up.
The torque converter can and will cause this problem.
