computer reset.

can someone gimmie the low down on if its recomended to reset your computer from time to time. after plug changes, oil changes, coolant changes, etc? and if so should it be done at running temp or cold.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Generally speaking, if it ain't broke, I wouldn't mess with it. The PCM will adapt as you drive unless something grossly goes wrong, catalyst damaging misfire, big vacuum leak, something like that.

It can actually take several trips to get the pcm settled in. It will learn your driving habits and adjust accordingly. process takes several days so I wouldn't think a cold engine or warm one would make much difference.

You don't reset it for routine maintenance. It doesn't matter if it's hot or cold.
