1979 F-150 4x4 Stepside
Here's a pic of my little brother's new truck. He got it for $700 with a good (60,000 mile) 351M with C6 tranny. It looks like it's gonna be fairly easy to fix it up into a nice looking reliable ride. Anyone else on here have any 1970's trucks or parts? I'm seeing mostly newer trucks here.
It's got a 4" suspension lift and 31" tires but he's going to go with 35"s next. Other than that it's pretty well stock even the 8-track player works!
Also, if anyone could direct me toward some kind of brush bar/push bar for it that'd be great

FTE Forum better for your situation
Nice looking 4x4. I have a 74 f100 and I have found a lot more information specific to the 73-79 models on the FTE forums. Check out http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/fo...hp?forumid=38. Very helpful people and a ton of information that can help any resto project.

My 1979 F150
I bought a 1979 F150 stepside 4x4 with a 351M and 4 speed trans brand new in 79. I customized it for showing. Thought you guys might like to see this picture. It had a 6" suspension lift and a 3" body lift with 38" monster mudders.
