Is the clutch pedal still depressed and stuck on the floor or is it back in the normal position? If the clutch pedal is not stuck is it hard to move. If it is stuck on the floor I would look for something binding in the pedal linkage, between the pedal and the master cylinder. If it is not depressed I would still look at the linkage and if that checks out I suspect the fingers on the clutch pressure plate are damaged.

Thanks for the reply JMC, I just pulled the clutch master and found that the clutch assembly; slave, bearing, pressure plate and disk, are stuck (jammed ?) forward.
Managed to make it to NAPA today and bought new master, slave and hd clutch kit. Hope to make it home early enough tomorrow to start wrenching on it.
Pls wish me luck, I'll need it!!
PS, look like you have a real nice ride there, was just about to order some GT 40 heads for mine but this damn clutch seems to have gotten in the way.
thanks again Stan
