NMRA Spring Break Ford Nationals
Bradenton Motorsports Park, Florida, March 12, 13 and 14. Sunoco race fuels 100 - 112 octane and plenty of other goodies.
Our local SVT club is heading up on the Saturday (13th). This track rocks, one of the best in Florida.
Who else is going? D-Day is calling his first 1/4 under 12, baby!

Dan- Your "zoo crew" brothers will be at Fun Ford weekend when you go for your 11 second run.We will be there cheering you on!This will be a good year for next gen. New innovative products now being tested and made.This will benefit the entire Lightning comunity.I will discuss this with you at that time.And as always we wish you much success with your black beast, D-Day.

Pete, I spoke with a tech at the track, I need to check NMRA rules (because it is their event), but Bradenton has all the basic race rules, plus - if you run a 11.49 or faster you need a five point harness belt, if you run under 10.99 you need a roll cage.
I won't need to worry about these, but if you bring your insane beast out you will need a 5-point for sure, and only you know about the role cage!
I will be ordering my slicks from Tom next week, question - do slicks improve in traction after a couple runs or are they just as good right out of the box?
