Bought a 97 used F-150 wothout the FORD users manual. Found out that the horn wasn't working so i started fooling around with swapping out fuses. Didn't have a book with so i wasn't sure which fuse was for the horn. i screwed something up because now my left headlight doesh't work on dim. Anyone got a 97 F-150 users manual they can part with or maybe you can just fax me the fuse box diagram for the 97 F-150 XL. I need the underdash diagram and the diagram for the relay box under the hood. Or just tell me which fuse is for the horn for a 97 pickup. i see 3 columns ands i can count from the top (left-center-or right) Is it a 20 amp fuse? Which fuse (if any) go to my left headlight.

No horn and now no left headlight.....HELP !

 

www.fleet.ford.com does not go back to 97. I am not sure myself if the 97 and 98 have the same fuse box(s) layouts as the 99, but you can try it to see what is going on, if you don't get an answer for a 1997 straight away.

The model is a F150, not F-150 as I keep typing in when I use it.

For the Future, you can try eBay for a 1997 manual, or you can order the Factory owners manual from Helm Inc. for 16.00 ( www.helminc.com ).
