Raptors have been rather dominating this year thanks to drivers like Rob MacCachren, Bryce Menzies, and Brian Deegan. Just how would Brian Deegan fair before at Glen Helen last month, just before Sturgis?

Brian Deegan would fair very well considering he was able to take the pole with a 47.990-second run around the Glen Helen track. Just like in the previous races that night the hole shot was everything and Deegan began the race in the lead with Rob MacCachren and Bryce Menzies close behind him.

With three laps to go, a full course caution would bunch the entire field up, but Deegan used the hole shot again and never looked back. Behind him, Rob MacCachren and Menzies would make contact, spinning Rob out and letting Carl Renezeder by both of them. At the end of the race LOORRS officials did not like the incident and took away Menzie’s position and gave it to Marty Hart.

Round 10 wouldn’t work towards Deegan’s favor and he would end up in third place while the man on the mission would be Bryce Menzies. After getting knocked out of third place by LOORRS officials, he would get redemption with a win under rain threatening night skies over Glen Helen.
