Being forever immortalized in a stamp is the dream of many, and that dream is about to come true for some classic American workhorses. Included in that list is the 1948 Ford F-1 and the 1965 Ford F-100

The F-1 had a six cylinder option and something called a “Million Dollar Cab.” Back then, a million dollars was a significant chunk of change. Now, it doesn’t even get you a full Bugatti Veyron. But I digress.

The F-100 featured Ford’s new “Twin-I-Beam” independent front suspension, along with a newly designed grille. That grille had a new design that featured 18 small rectangular holes for letting air pass through.

The United States Postal Service hasn’t announced an on-sale date for these stamps, but expect them later this year. Since they are Forever stamps, they will always be worth the price of one stamp, even if the price of stamps goes up.
