HUMP DAY JUMP Ford Raptor Jumps, Airbags Deploy

The Ford Raptor is a truck made for off-road antics. It can handle anything from mudding to climbing and even to jumping. Well, it can usually handle jumping. If we were to get airborne in any stock truck, the Raptor would be out pick.

Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean you through reason and good judgement out the window just because you have a solid rig, since, well, there’s always the chance that either the driver will be injured, the truck will be damaged, or the truck will think a wreck occurred. And if that happens, the airbags go off.

That’s exactly what happens in today’s video. We get to see a red Ford Raptor jumping on the dunes, and all seems to be well. That is, until the truck lands. A bit rougher than expected, at that. The airbags immediately deploy, filling the window in a rather laughable failure. Maybe it seemed like the truck could handle the jump, but the driver and their passenger seem to have forgotten about the rather common safety feature!

While we hope the incident didn’t ruin their trip, it absolutely made our day to watch this clip! Check out the video below and see the antics for yourself!
