AutoWeek Drags the F-150 FX4 Through the Mud

I appreciate Autoweek’s dedication here. You can’t really review the F-150 FX4 without out taking it to the place it’s designed to go. I mean, sure, there are people who’ll buy one of these and then refuse to take them anywhere but their cozy suburban cul-de-sacs, but that’s a waste. This is a truck built to get dirty. Autoweek does exactly that in this video.

The model they’re testing is an Ecoboost variant. That’s 350hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. That’s probably enough for most people on the road, but the mud can be a different beast. Still, 360 hp is a fair amount and 420 lb-ft of torque is a plenty to sling mud. They even manage to get stuck in the video.
