This is the 2013 Shelby Raptor

ShelbyRaptor-2013The guys at recently got the chance to test out the new 2013 Shelby Raptor. Shelby might make you think Mustangs, but they do trucks, too! The Shelby treatment includes a Shelby/Whipple supercharger and intercooler, which bumps the horsepower to 575 hp (stock Raptors are rated at 411 hp). Other changes include a “Stinger” exhaust and stainless Borla dual exhaust tips, a few interior tweaks and Shelby Method 18-inch wheels with 35/12.50 R18LT BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires (Shelby left the awesome Raptor suspension alone).┬áThese changes run about $18,000 not including the wheels. But even though that can bring a Raptor up over $70k, the guys came away plenty impressed.
